Michelle Reid

Michelle Reid is an animal cruelty investigator and consultant with extensive training through the University of Florida and University of Missouri. She has investigated and been a key witness for some of the largest and most recognized animal cruelty cases and seizes in the Carolinas. Michelle has aided or consulted with local, state and federal authorities on their investigations. She has proven experience with cases linked to domestic violence, child abuse, child sexual predators, methamphetamine labs, illegal dumping, environmental and public health concerns, and various other illegal dealings.

Certified as an emergency responder, Michelle has hands-on experience performing animal disaster search and rescue work in areas hit hard by natural disasters. She has aided in the aftermath of numerous hurricanes, often spending weeks at a time working in partnership with organizations such as HSUS, American Red Cross, and other emergency responders.
